Srima is a picturesque tourist resort connected with the Town of Vodice by a row of weekend houses. The settlement existed already in the Middle Ages, but the inhabitants escaped to the nearby island of Prvić because of the Turkish attacks and established a new settlement named Šepurine.

They returned to Srima when the danger ceased to exist at the end of the 17th century. Tourism has been developing strongly in the past twenty years by raising high quality accommodation capacity in family and weekend houses, and numerous motor camps.

Srima, with its pebble beaches, attracts the lovers of peace and rest in a small littoral village. Not far from Srima, at the site of Srimska lokva, valuable archaeological finds of an old Christian basilica from the 6th – Prižba century were discovered, reachable to all interested visitors.
